An award-winning writer, in the last 25 years, Julie S. Bettinger has authored over 750 feature articles in highly competitive southeast, mid Atlantic and Northeast markets. In recent years, she served as editor of Tallahassee and Emerald Coast magazines and was a regular contributor to Florida Trend.
She authored a weekly business column for the Tallahassee Democrat newspaper for two years has served as editor for the Florida Sheriffs Association publications – The Sheriff's Star and All Points Bulletin – since 1995.
Julie co-authored The Book of Bowden (2001) and two coffee-table
books about Tallahassee and is contracted to write a book on the History
of the Florida Sheriffs. She continues to write extensively for private firms
and public agencies producing specialty publications and developing content
for Web sites.
On the web, Bettinger's contributions include content development for one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the nation, two regional healthcare systems, a Fortune 500 firm and a technology company. Her bylined articles also appear on FloridaTrend.com, FloridaSmallBusiness.com, Florida State University's Research In Review, the Florida State Law magazine and The Florida Catholic.
